The Role:
Echelon Wellness is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner at our (6) clinics in (5) provinces, including our Bedford, NS location. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments, screening, and therapeutic care utilizing low-intensity shockwave therapy to treat patients with various medical conditions. Training on equipment usage will be provided.
Responsibilities:
· Develop personalized, evidence-based, treatment plans
· Conduct structured clinical assessments, including evaluating Functional Capacity Evaluations, and prepare supporting documentation
· Utilize shockwave therapy in the management of chronic pain and erectile dysfunction
· Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with professional standards and privacy legislation
· Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
· Stay current with best practices, regulations, and ethical standards in nurse practitioner practice
Qualifications/Education:
· Current certificate of registration with your provincial college as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing
· Master of Science in Nursing (or a related graduate degree, preferred)
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clear and accurate clinical documentation
· Proficient in electronic medical records and digital health documentation tools
· Additional liability coverage required
