Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Support the setup and assembly of piping systems using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to support project planning and execution
- Participate in heavy lifting tasks to move materials and equipment safely
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Support team members with carpentry, welding, HVAC, or other related tasks as needed
- Learn to operate construction equipment and understand schematics for system layouts
- Assist with troubleshooting issues using basic math skills and technical schematics
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely
- Strong interest in plumbing, construction, HVAC, or related trades
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus but training will be provided
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations
- Prior experience in carpentry or welding is advantageous but not mandatory
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving may be beneficial for certain projects
- Commitment to safety procedures and ongoing learning in a dynamic work environment
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
