Job Summary
We are hiring hardworking and reliable employees to join our poultry processing team in the Evisceration Room of a chicken processing facility. Workers will assist with the cleaning and processing of poultry products in a fast-paced slaughterhouse environment while following all food safety and workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform poultry evisceration and related processing tasks
- Remove internal organs and inspect products for quality standards
- Operate and clean processing equipment safely
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and company procedures
- Work efficiently on a production line in a refrigerated environment
- Wear required protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors
Requirements
- Ability to work in a cold, wet, and fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g. 25 kg / 55 lbs]
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Previous slaughterhouse or poultry processing experience is an asset but not required
- Must follow workplace safety and animal handling regulations
Work Conditions
- Cold and humid processing environment
- Exposure to raw poultry products
- Day, evening, or night shifts available
- Overtime may be required during busy periods
Pay: $17.60 per hour
