As a School Bus LPN, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students with medical and complex needs during their transportation to and from school.
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid and care as per individual care plans.
- Monitoring students' well-being and behaviors throughout the route.
- Documenting nursing interventions and reporting to supervisors.
- Ensuring the safety and security of students and equipment during transportation.
- Communicate with supervisor on identified health-related problems of students.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized LPN program with CLPNA registration.
- Experience in continuing care, especially with children living with disabilities.
- Current BLS Certification
- Valid Alberta Driver's license and access to a vehicle.
