Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman for a direct hire opportunity in Mississauga, ON within a metal fabrication and welding environment. The Shop Foreman will play a key leadership role in coordinating workflow, supporting welders and fabricators, monitoring production schedules, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop floor operations, including metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and production workflow.
- Coordinate work assignments, prioritize jobs, and help ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.
- Provide hands-on guidance to welders, fabricators, and shop personnel to support quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Monitor workmanship, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure work meets drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Promote safe work practices, proper equipment use, and a clean, organized shop environment.
- Communicate with management and internal teams regarding job status, material needs, staffing requirements, and production concerns.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 to $130,000 per year.
