Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe delivery of Amazon packages to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport packages and goods to designated locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on schedule, adhering to route plans.
- Inspect vehicles regularly for safety issues and perform basic vehicle maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Communicate effectively with team lead regarding delivery status or issues.
- Follow all safety protocols related to driving, heavy equipment operation, and transportation regulations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in delivery driving, or related logistics roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Must pass background checks and adhere to company safety policies.
