Electrical Project Manager

Falco Electrical Systems Ltd. is a Calgary-based electrical contractor specializing in commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, and large-scale electrical projects throughout the Calgary region.
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team.
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and experienced professional who understands the demands of managing electrical projects from award through completion and takes pride in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and profitably.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple commercial and large multifamily electrical projects while working closely with our clients, consultants, general contractors, suppliers, field teams, and internal management.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years of electrical project management experience, with a strong background in commercial and/or large multifamily construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical projects from contract award through completion and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Coordinate with General Contractors, consultants, engineers, suppliers, and trades
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements
- Manage RFIs, change orders, progress billings, and project documentation
- Work closely with Foremen and Site Superintendents to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Monitor labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Identify potential project issues and develop solutions before they impact schedule or budget
- Attend project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and construction partners
- Assist with procurement, material coordination, and project planning
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, professionally, and to a high standard
- Manage project closeout, deficiencies, documentation, and turnover
- Provide regular project updates and financial reporting to company management
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of electrical project management experience preferred
- Strong experience with commercial and/or large multifamily construction
- Electrical industry experience is required
- Strong understanding of electrical construction, drawings, specifications, and construction processes
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and manpower
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Experience working with General Contractors and Consultants
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Proficient with Bluebeam Software
- Alberta electrical experience and/or trade background would be considered an asset
