Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our cleaning team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will have prior custodial experience and a strong work ethic, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to meet cleanliness standards
- Restocking supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap in restrooms and kitchens
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously when interacting with clients and staff
Requirements
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
- Reliable transportation is preferred for timely arrival at various job sites
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
