Job Description:
We are looking for ideal candidates with knowledge of ICI (Institutional, Commercial and Industrial) field including but not limited to branch wiring, conduit installation, Distribution, Lighting, Controls, Data/Communication, Fire Alarm and Feeders.
We are currently looking for 4th or 5th year apprentice and/or licensed electricians to assist in a lighting retrofit job in Belleville which is full time and will last until September 2026. Qualified and selected candidates from the GTA will be provided accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Execute & Install plans of electrical wiring for commercial buildings
- Install electrical equipment, wiring and conduit in buildings
- Install circuit-breaker panels, switches, resistors, power generators and other electrical equipment
Qualifications:
- Hands on experience in the electrical field is required.
- Working in a team & independently, willing to learn and dedicated to get the job done in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to read blueprints, have a basic understanding of the electrical code and basic math/code calculations.
- Advanced conduit bending experience
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues in a timely manner. This includes working with senior licensed electricians during installation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, Fixed term contract
Pay: $34.00-$42.00 per hour
