Overview
We're looking for an experienced Pallet Builder who can hit the ground running. If you know your way around a nail gun, can read a pallet spec, and take pride in fast, clean, accurate work, we want to hear from you. This is steady, year-round work with immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble new wooden pallets to specification using pneumatic nail guns and hand tools
- Repair and rebuild used pallets to meet quality standards
- Read and work from pallet specs (size, board count, stringer spacing) with minimal supervision
- Sort, grade, and stack lumber and finished pallets
- Dismantle and recycle used pallets and wood material
- Meet daily production and quality targets consistently
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environments is preferred
- Proficient with pneumatic nail guns and standard production hand tools
- Able to read and follow pallet specifications independently
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for a full shift
- Reliable, punctual, and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Steel-toe safety boots (required on site)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
This position requires a dedicated individual capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the physical stamina necessary for heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
