Senior Industrial Millwright / Maintenance Lead (433A) – Day Shift
About the Role
Regency Plastics is a high-volume plastics manufacturing company specializing in extrusion, printing, and converting operations.
We are seeking a licensed 433A Industrial Millwright who is already an experienced leader to join our maintenance team as Maintenance Lead. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintenance across our entire operations.
We need a strong, mature leader who can take immediate ownership of equipment performance, lead troubleshooting efforts, improve machine reliability, and raise the overall standard of maintenance throughout the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of all production equipment across extrusion, printing, and converting departments
- Take full ownership of machine uptime, identify root causes of recurring issues, and implement long-term solutions
- Direct maintenance priorities based on production impact and urgency
- Support complex machine setups and work closely with production teams
- Work with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, gearbox, bearing, shaft, and drive systems
- Train, coach, and guide other maintenance technicians and setup personnel
- Build and improve a structured preventive maintenance system
- Set high standards for repair quality and team performance
- Maintain a strong, hands-on presence on the production floor while leading the team
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a proven leader — not someone who is still developing into the role:
- A high-caliber 433A Millwright with strong leadership experience
- Excellent troubleshooter with solid root cause analysis skills
- Confident leader who can take charge, make decisions, and guide others during downtime
- Practical, hands-on, and mechanically strong
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communicator who collaborates well with production and maintenance teams
- Someone who takes pride in doing things properly and driving long-term improvements
Requirements
- Valid 433A Industrial Millwright license
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Preferred Experience
- Plastics manufacturing equipment (extrusion, printing, or converting)
- Leading and training other mechanics or setup personnel
- Improving machine reliability, reducing downtime, and building preventive maintenance systems
