Job Summary
As a Service Consultant at Acura Sherway, you will be the primary point of contact for customers in the service department. You will coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, communicate clearly with clients about service needs, and ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently. This role includes promoting additional services, parts, and accessories, contributing to dealership sales goals, and maintaining Acura’s high standards of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the service department, providing an exceptional experience.

Greet customers, schedule service appointments, and communicate clearly about vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Conduct vehicle inspections, present recommendations, and consultatively deliver vehicles to clients.

Promote additional services, parts, and accessories to meet sales and revenue goals.

Write, verify, and review repair orders; coordinate with technicians and management on timelines and estimates.

Approve warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines and ensure compliance with policies.

Maintain accurate customer records with manufacturer, DMS and support follow-up communications.

Collaborate with Parts, Technicians, and other departments to ensure a seamless service experience.

Stay current on Acura training requirements, service promotions, and dealership procedures.

Follow all health, safety, and accident reporting policies; maintain a clean and organized service area.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support department success.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)

Previous experience in automotive sales or service

Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license

Punctual, reliable, independent, and able to multi-task

Team player, quick thinker, and problem solver

Availability for evenings and Saturdays

Basic automotive mechanical knowledge

Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions

Flexible, results-oriented, and accountable
Hours
-
Monday to Saturday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Alternating schedule; employees work 5 shifts per week, up to 44 hours/week

Exposure to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and temperature variations

Frequent interaction with managers, Service Advisors, Technicians, and other department
