Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves performing a variety of landscaping tasks, supporting landscape projects, and ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of our clients' properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical aptitude, and be eager to learn new skills in landscape maintenance and construction.
Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance
- Perform gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation
- Help with construction-related activities including setting up structures or features in outdoor spaces
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic mechanical repairs to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Support team members with various tasks to ensure efficient project completion
Requirements
- Prior experience with landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or construction is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools required for landscape work
- Physical ability to perform outdoor labor including lifting heavy materials, digging, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and horticultural principles is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
