Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, motivated Sandwich Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh Burritos and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, food safety, and customer interaction within a fast-paced restaurant setting. The Sandwich Artist will play a key role in delivering a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare Burritos, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure all food is handled safely and maintained in accordance with sanitation standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as needed
- Uphold the company's brand standards in appearance, attitude, and service delivery
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and kitchen safety procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
Pay: $17.65-$18.00 per hour
