Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Head Chef to join our kitchen team. This position is perfect for individuals interested in starting or pursuing a career in the food industry. The Head Chef will perform food preparation and cooking, ensuring all meals meet high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines for proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Support meal preparation for various items on the menu based on our business hours.
- Preparing and serving meals during busy periods.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cooking in restaurant setting is required.
- Advanced knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with food safety standards is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks related to food service.
