Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned daily landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and to company standards.
- Perform lawn care, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, seasonal cleanups, and general property maintenance.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work sites at all times.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist team leaders and supervisors with daily operations and project completion.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Travel to multiple residential and commercial properties as required.
- Represent Ridgeview Homes professionally while working on client properties.
- Provide support to Site Supervisor through diligent and quality workmanship of various hands on construction tasks
- Assist with the maintenance of effective onsite communications and progress reporting with sub-trades and clients
- Participate in site operations as an active team member
- ensure that sites are kept clean and organized
Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous landscape maintenance experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physically capable of performing manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and landscaping equipment operation is an asset.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and travel daily to assigned job sites.
- Valid WHMIS certification is an asset.
- Valid Working at Heights certification is an asset.
- Valid Class G driver's license with reliable transportation is required.
- Experience operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers is considered an asset.
