Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations to lead and optimize our organizational processes, drive business growth, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations across 20 clinics ensure operational excellence, and develop innovative strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the company's future, aligning operational goals with overall business objectives, and inspiring teams to achieve their highest potential.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies that support business growth and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve workflows, and eliminate inefficiencies through process improvement initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and vendor agreements to maximize value and strengthen business relationships.
- Oversee project management activities to ensure timely delivery of initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Drive business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of leadership, accountability, and continuous learning across all levels of the organization.
- Provide direct leadership and mentorship to Operations Managers across regional territories
- Own end-to-end clinic operational performance: staffing, scheduling, workflow efficiency, patient volume, and service quality
- Standardize and continuously improve operating procedures across all 20 clinics
- Monitor and drive KPI and incentive framework performance across clinic teams
- Partner with HR, Finance, and executive leadership on workforce planning, budgeting, and clinic-level P&L accountability
- Lead the resolution of escalated operational issues, staffing gaps, and clinic-level crises
- Support new clinic openings, transitions, and ownership changes
- Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement among clinic managers
- Report regularly to the COO and CEO on operational performance and strategic initiatives
Skills
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and build strategic partnerships.
- Strong expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse teams and inspiring high performance.
- Solid background in business development with a track record of expanding market presence.
- Proficient project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, ideally in healthcare, multi-site clinics, or a similarly regulated service industry
- Proven experience managing and developing operations managers or regional leads across multiple locations
- Strong analytical skills with experience building and monitoring KPI/incentive frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working directly with executive leadership
- Experience with staffing models, payroll/scheduling systems, and workforce planning
- Ability to travel regularly across the Ontario clinic network
- Bachelor's degree required; healthcare administration or business background preferred

Pay: $115,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
