The Maliya Wellness Centre and its sister company More for Men, are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in both women’s and men's health with expertise in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) to join our expanding team.
This is a unique opportunity to receive full support from a collaborative in-house team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff. Together, we help navigate hormonal transitions with compassion and comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations to assess and manage symptoms.
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including bioidentical HRT, aligned with evidence-based guidelines.
- Educate clients about treatment options, lifestyle support, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records using the Jane EMR system in alignment with PIPEDA/PIPA regulations.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging as required.
- Make appropriate referrals to local providers to ensure collaborative, well-rounded patient care.
- Prescribe BHRT through trusted local compounding pharmacies.
- Monitor client progress using Maliya’s structured BHRT protocol (see website), including prescription management, documentation, and symptom tracking.
- Perform thorough health assessments and ensure detailed documentation for all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Advanced training in Bioidentical and Synthetic HRT.
- Current registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current private independent registration with Netcare.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-centered care skills.
- Individual liability insurance.
- Commitment to attending monthly staff meetings (virtual or in-person).
