Our developing Montessori School is a warm and inclusive Montessori school dedicated to nurturing children’s curiosity, independence, and love for learning. We are seeking a certified Montessori Teacher to join our team and create meaningful learning experiences for our students.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide children with a prepared Montessori environment, including making and organizing materials to support individual needs.
- Plan individual and group activities to promote growth in social, emotional, and academic areas.
- Deliver lessons and presentations in all areas of the classroom: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Culture.
- Encourage independence while also supporting group work and socialization.
- Identify, select, and adapt materials to meet the needs of children with diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in school-wide special activities, celebrations, and events.
- Support children with toileting/diapering as needed, while respecting their dignity.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
- Implement health and safety standards through daily observation, sanitary practices, and required documentation.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and attend training workshops as required.
- Participate in outdoor activities with children for a minimum of 2 hours per day.
- Work collaboratively as a creative, energetic, and flexible team member.
- Uphold a positive and professional attitude that contributes to the school and wider community.
Qualifications:
- Montessori Certification (MACTE, AMI, or equivalent) – Required.
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child-centered learning.
- Previous experience in a Montessori classroom is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
