Maxwell Merchant Solutions emerged to service the growing need for debit and cash register and other service supplies as Canada's financial institutions accelerated into the electronic processing of credit and debit card transactions.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Evening Dispatcher to coordinate and support our field service operations during evening hours. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling service calls, dispatching technicians, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues while maintaining strong communication with both internal teams and clients.
Schedule: Evening Shift (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch field service technicians to customer locations based on priority, geography, and skill set
- Monitor technician routes and schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technicians and customers during evening operations
- Update and maintain accurate service records, job statuses, and schedules in the dispatch system
- Handle incoming service requests and triage issues based on urgency
- Communicate delays, changes, or escalations to customers and management promptly
- Collaborate with daytime dispatch and operations teams to ensure seamless shift handover
- Assist in optimizing schedules to maximize productivity
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service level agreements (SLAs)
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, logistics, or field service coordination preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service mindset with a professional demeanor
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
Working Conditions
