Brown Culture Co. (BCC) is looking for a creative Shooter & Video Editor who wants to tell stories through visuals while building their own portfolio alongside one of the fastest-growing Brown media platforms.

About the Role
As a Shooter & Video Editor, you'll capture and edit content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, helping create everything from artist interviews and podcasts to event coverage and original content.
You'll play a major role in defining the visual style of BCC.
Responsibilities
- Film interviews, podcasts, performances and behind-the-scenes content.
- Edit engaging short-form and long-form videos.
- Create content optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube.
- Assist with camera setup, lighting and audio during shoots.
- Work closely with the creative team to develop new visual concepts.
- Help maintain and evolve BCC's visual identity.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about filmmaking and editing.
- Creative with a strong eye for storytelling.
- Familiar with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
- Reliable and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working in a team.
- Interested in music, culture and media.
- Looking to build a strong creative portfolio.

Creative Challenge
Before applying, spend some time exploring @browncultureco on Instagram.
Then complete one of the following:
Option 1 (Recommended):
Choose one existing BCC post or reel and explain how you would have filmed or edited it differently to increase engagement. Be as detailed as you'd like.
Option 2:
Pitch one original video or content series that you think BCC should create. Explain why it would work and how you would bring it to life visually.
There are no right or wrong answers, we're looking for creativity, storytelling, and your ability to think like a filmmaker.
