Job Summary:
As a Tire Technician at Trail Tire, you will be responsible for preforming tire diagnostics & repair, dismounting and mounting tires, performing vehicle oil change and lubrications and assisting with shop maintenance. The technician ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and adhering to safety and company standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
· Communicate with clients / customers and associates in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
· Adhere to policies and procedures, which may be developed and implemented from time to time.
· Perform vehicle oil change and lubrication duties. (As required)
· Follow correct Work order and Operations procedures.
· Dismount and remount tires, perform tire diagnostics and repair.
· Correctly torqueing of wheels to exact vehicle specifications using torque sticks or torque bars.
· Operate shop machines and equipment including tire changers, balancers, hoists and air tools.
· Assist with daily clean-up
· Assist with daily shop and equipment maintenance.
· Assist with Auto Technicians as required.
· Assist with inventory control. (Pulling correct tires, putting away inventory)
· Complete 30 point inspections.
· Precautions taken to ensure the protection of Customer Property
Safety: Follow all safety guideline and operational procedures
Working Conditions:
· Shop environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
· Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.
· Occasional overtime may be required during peak seasons.
· Support team operations and complete other tasks as assigned.
All Tire Technicians are expected to uphold high standards of teamwork, be accountable for exercising your best judgment and meet the outlined expectations within the Shop environment.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
