Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and development
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers as needed
- Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and caregiving strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to ensure each child's unique needs are met
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and other relevant documentation
- Implement classroom routines and activities that promote active participation and curiosity
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings or related environments
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to supporting young learners
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective behavior management and instructional techniques
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, developmental stages, and best practices
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners
- Creative problem-solving abilities and patience in handling diverse classroom situations

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Saint-Laurent, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- SPVM Police Check (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
