Summary
- Bench Oilfield Consulting is looking for third-party inspectors for heat exchangers, piping, pressure vessels and tanks being fabricated and repaired in the Edmonton & Lloydminster areas.
- A number of inspector vacancies are open with our group and we are hiring immediately.
- Jobs vary in duration but typically provide 10-20 hours per week of billable hours.
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years performing visual inspection and repair of ASME VIII heat exchangers & pressure vessels, ASME B31.3/B31.1 piping or API 650 above-ground storage tanks.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Experience with non-destructive examination methods (PT, MT, RT, UT, ET, etc.)
Certifications
Successful candidates should hold one or more of the below technical certifications:
- API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector
- API 570 Pressure Piping Inspector
- API 650 Above-Ground Tank Inspector
- ABSA In-Service Pressure Vessel Inspector
Compensation
- Successful candidates must be self-incorporated and registered with appropriate CGL insurance, WCB insurance, etc.
- Compensation will be provided on an hourly basis and will include travel and vehicle kilometers.
