Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation and food assembly to ensure timely service
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices in accordance with food safety regulations
- Serve dishes to customers efficiently and courteously when required
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Support team members in various kitchen tasks as needed during busy periods
Skills
- Experience in cooking, food preparation, or food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
