Emma Capital is looking for an Administrative Assistant
The Administrative assistant responsibilities include:
General responsibilities
· Answer phones and type documents as needed
· Bringing Mail from Yonge & Eglinton office, opening and filing mail
· Office supplies, general maintenance, office organization and cleaning.
· Support at Emma capital for Internet, phone, fax, printers, ECII, OOMA, 1&1
· Personal assistant for the owners of Emma Capital
· Preparing and mailing distribution cheques on a monthly basis.
· Buying flight tickets and other travel arrangements
· Scheduling meetings
· Booking company events
· Managing petty cash
· Send out monthly distribution reports and quarterly reports
· Update investor contact information
· Be the direct contact for investors – answer any queries, assist with any issues
· Assist in the completion of documents
· Send out update emails to investors regarding acquisitions and dispositions
· Prepare and email cash call requests
· Track incoming funds for cash calls
· Recording / Updating / Bookkeeping
· Travel reports
· Overseeing and updating Emma Capital’s website page
· Keep complete records of investors signed budget resolutions, or other resolutions as needed
· ECII and ECI credit card tracking
· Overseeing properties websites – after 3-6 months
· Write checks as needed
· Assist with communications with investors
· Ensure taxes are paid on time
· Assist in administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to learn quickly
- Basic computer skills including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Team player
- Ability to multitask
Job Type: Full Time, the role is 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. We are located near Yonge and Eglinton in midtown Toronto.
Position start date: Immediate – 2 weeks
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
