Frontend Engineer (JS/TS/Python)

We're a pre-seed-funded startup based in the US and Canada. Our mission is to enhance the efficiency and business alignment of enterprise IT investments. We're seeking a talented front-end engineer to join our team and help design and develop the next phase of our cutting-edge cost analytics platform.
About Us
Our team of FinOps and AI experts is building the first AI-native system of record for Run-stage FinOps and IT Finance. It unifies fragmented cloud, AI, SaaS, and internal IT costs into a defensible business-aligned TCO model and delivers actionable insights directly into existing workflows—maximizing efficiency, predictability, and the business value of rapidly growing IT investments.
The Ideal Candidate

- Is familiar with Git version control and eager to grow through code reviews and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Delight users of our AI-powered FinOps data platform with an easy-to-manage control plane
- Design and build an intuitive low-code FinOps-as-Code authoring environment for a non-technical audience with an emphasis on ease of use
- Develop consistent design and usability guidelines for the front-end
- Implement scalable and maintainable front-end solutions using TypeScript, , Node.js, and related technologies
- Build REST APIs for a Python web service and integrate with Cloud/SaaS provider APIs
- Build, test, and deploy solutions on cloud-native environments
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining enterprise front-end applications
- 5+ years of front-end web development experience using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and React
- 3+ years of TypeScript experience
- Expertise in React patterns, including compositional design, hooks, and asynchronous state management. Redux is a plus, as is MUI
- Experience building designs and mockups
- Experience with Python web services development, including designing and implementing REST APIs is a plus
- Experience integrating with various clouds, SaaS provider APIs, and storage and data systems
- Experience managing cloud-native software development and web service security
- The candidate must be legally employable in Canada, be able to join full-time, and be located in the Greater Toronto Area.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with integration with authentication/authorization systems
- Familiarity with FinOps and financial data platforms
- Familiarity with data engineering, ETL, and big data systems
- Familiarity with DevOps practices like Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, logging/metrics, and cloud-native development

Base Pay: $130,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
