Duties
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly, adhering to food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations.
- Engage with guests to ensure a positive dining experience, addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy hours, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry service roles preferred; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously during peak hours.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations.
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly attitude and team-oriented approach.
