Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to support our healthcare team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist licensed chiropractors in implementing treatment plans, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment.
Duties
- Assist chiropractors with patient assessments and treatment sessions
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Support patients with exercises and mobility activities under supervision
- Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the physiotherapist
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of therapy equipment and treatment space
Skills
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, attentive, and professional demeanor with a focus on patient well-being
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
