Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Tire and Lube Tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform tire replacements, routine maintenance, and automotive repairs while delivering outstanding service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires efficiently and safely using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid top-offs, and filter replacements
- Assist customers by explaining services needed and recommending appropriate solutions
- Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tires and automotive parts safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Complete all service documentation accurately and promptly
- Support sales efforts by informing customers about additional maintenance or tire options
Skills
- Dealership or automotive repair experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the team
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently
