Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere at the front desk
- Consult with clients to understand their hair styling preferences and recommend suitable services
- Perform professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing treatments with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client flow and minimize wait times
- Communicate clearly with clients about aftercare instructions and product recommendations
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio of diverse looks and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and active listening
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon environment
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently without being pushy
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Previous retail sales experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to promote products naturally
- Experience working at the front desk or handling appointment bookings is desirable
