We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, loss prevention, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed.
Responsibilities
- Must have Vehicle
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Conduct loss prevention measures by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage
Skills
- Must have Vehicle
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security protocols
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is advantageous
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance technology is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance
