Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven B2B Sales Representative / Business Development Representative to help grow our transportation and logistics company in Quebec and Ontario.
This position is for a serious sales professional who understands B2B sales, knows how to approach companies, build strong relationships, follow up consistently, and bring new business opportunities.
Our company provides transportation and logistics services including:
- 26 ft box truck service with tailgate
- Local P&D
- Same-day and next-day delivery
- LTL / FTL transportation
- Dedicated trucks and drivers
- Shunter / yard services
- Quebec and Ontario operations
Responsibilities
- Find and contact new B2B clients
- Build relationships with warehouses, manufacturers, distributors, brokers, retailers, food companies, construction companies, and logistics customers
- Make cold calls, send emails, use LinkedIn, and book meetings
- Present our transportation services professionally
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Follow up with potential clients until the account is closed
- Work directly with management to close new contracts
- Keep records of contacts, follow-ups, quotes, and client updates
- Help grow stable transportation accounts in Quebec and Ontario
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of B2B sales experience
- Experience in trucking, courier, logistics, freight, 3PL, LTL, FTL, or transportation is strongly preferred
- Existing book of business is a major advantage
- Strong communication skills in English
- French is an asset
- Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and client meetings
- Professional, organized, consistent, and focused on results
- Able to work independently and bring real business opportunities
Compensation
- Base salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year depending on experience
- Commission: 5%–8% based on gross profit from new accounts
- Performance bonuses for stable accounts and large contracts
- Total earning potential: $90,000–$130,000+ per year
- Long-term opportunity to grow into a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager role
Commission Rule
Commission is paid only after the client pays the invoice. Commission is based on gross profit, not total revenue.
