Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lab Technician to join our plastics manufacturing team. Duties
- Conduct routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collect, record, and analyze data accurately using appropriate laboratory equipment and software.
- Perform detailed analysis of test results to identify trends or deviations from quality standards.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure precision and reliability of test results.
- Document all testing procedures, results, and observations thoroughly in accordance with company protocols.
- Assist in developing new testing methods or improving existing procedures for enhanced efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of chemicals and laboratory materials.
Requirements
- Prior laboratory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and data collection techniques.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and proper handling
- Ability to operate laboratory instruments such as spectrometers, pH meters, or similar devices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with team members.
- Educational background in manufacturing, quality, ISO
Pay: $23.89-$27.67 per hour
