Are you a sharp project professional who bridges the gap between electrical estimation and project execution? Are you ready to manage project changes with precision while driving financial accuracy for large-scale electrical construction?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong grasp of electrical systems, materials, and labor impact? Are you looking for a pivotal role where your technical expertise directly impacts project profitability?
If so, our Projects Department is looking for YOU to join us as our new Electrical Estimator.

· Scope & Blueprint Analysis: Accurately review project drawings, specifications, and site instructions to promptly determine deviations from original contracts and issue comprehensive cost adjustments.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage the communication flow regarding change orders efficiently, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and clients to justify estimates and cultivate strong working relationships.
· Financial Tracking: Diligently track the status of all pending and approved change orders, reviewing financial metrics for adherence to company policy and project budget terms.
· Subcontractor Support: Support the project team with pricing variations for electrical subcontractors, including tracking changes to their scopes of work and coordinating material impact.
· Change Order Management: Lead the process of tracking, reviewing, and managing change order requests on a timely basis, identifying discrepancies in original project scopes to ensure all additional work is captured and billed.
· Additional Duties as Assigned: Be flexible and willing to take on additional estimating and project administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the projects department.
What You Bring to the Table:
· Electrical Expertise: Solid experience working in electrical estimating or project coordination for an electrical contractor, giving you the strong knowledge foundation needed to accurately price electrical scopes.
· Industry Background: Must have a thorough background in electrical materials (such as conduit, wire, switchgear, controls, and lighting) and labor factors, demonstrating proficiency in understanding project material requirements and technical specifications.
· System Expertise: Must have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, demonstrating proficiency in utilizing tools like Excel for data management, cost analysis, and tracking.
· Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, enabling clear, professional, and persuasive interaction with internal stakeholders (Project Managers, Engineers) and external clients or vendors.
