Duties
- Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, and administrative tasks
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for patient safety and privacy
- Manage clinic budget, including supply procurement and expense tracking
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems like Dentrix and other EMR platforms
- Coordinate with medical professionals, including nurses and physicians, to facilitate smooth workflow
- Implement policies to improve patient care quality and operational efficiency
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management
- Facilitate staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
- Address patient concerns promptly to uphold high levels of patient satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in medical office management with supervisory responsibilities - THIS IS A MUST
- Competent at using EMR: ACCURO
- Familiarity with medical terminology, hospital procedures, nursing practices, and acute care settings
- Experience in human resources management including hiring, training, and staff development
- Budgeting skills to effectively manage clinic expenses and resource allocation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and regulations governing patient privacy and safety
- Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and external partners
