Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Property Maintenance, Carpentry & Renovation Technician to join our facilities team. This role involves maintaining and renovating commercial and residential properties, ensuring all systems and structures are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Conduct carpentry repairs, renovations, and installations including framing, drywall, and finishing
- Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance history
- Execute welding tasks for structural repairs and modifications
- Repair electrical systems following schematics and safety standards
- Maintain mechanical systems including pumps, motors, conveyors, and HVAC units
- Lead renovation projects from planning through completion while supervising team members when necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally
Skills
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead maintenance teams effectively
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics and wiring diagrams
- Mechanical knowledge related to facility equipment and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance management
- Skilled in welding techniques for structural repairs or modifications
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices within manufacturing or similar environments
- Leadership qualities to oversee projects, supervise staff, and ensure safety standards are met
