5pm to 8pm - 21 hours Bi-Weekly

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Grade 12 minimum·
- Recent Safe Food Handlers certificate issued by Public Health
Background:
- Minimum of three years’ experience preferred
Personal Requirements:
- Work as part of a team
- Capable of adapting to different situations and change·
- Keen interest in working with seniors
FUNCTIONS:
- Helps cook and servers collect and strip trays and tables for washing, clean and reset tables for next sitting;
- Loads, operates and empties dishwasher. Puts dishes away;
- Damp mops floors;
- Cleans other kitchen equipment such as blenders, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.;
- Maintains general cleanliness of the dry goods storage area, walk-in fridge and freezer, receiving area by correct sweeping and mopping of floors, washing of walls and racks;
- Performs all duties in a clean and sanitary manner;
- Ensures that adequate standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained in food storage, and food service;
- Ensures availability and maintenance of dietary supplies and equipment and submits requisitions as necessary.
