Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves serving food and drinks, handling cash transactions, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Previous experience in the food industry, particularly with POS systems like Micros POS, is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and proper food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while ensuring timely service
- Uphold restaurant policies on responsible alcohol service and food safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred, especially with serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Ability to work in a hospitality setting with professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude
