Job Summary
We are seeking an art Instructor to teach high school students drawing and painting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art, teaching, and working with children. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes creativity and self-expression
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help improve their artistic skills
- Incorporate various art techniques and mediums to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Plan special projects that showcase student artwork and achievements
Skills
- Proven experience in teaching art to children of diverse backgrounds
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively
- Experience working with children.
- Ability to incorporate creative teaching methods to inspire students’ artistic talents
- Knowledge of various art techniques, mediums, and tools
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students and staff
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for fostering creativity through art
