Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable <PERSON> to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, and the operation of heavy equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and hands-on craftsmanship. The position involves performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise project execution
- Construct, install, and repair structures using concrete forming techniques and carpentry skills
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform concrete finishing tasks with attention to detail for smooth and durable surfaces
- Assist with restoration projects, including siding installation and other exterior repairs
- Conduct welding as required for structural integrity and project specifications
- Utilize woodworking skills for custom fabrication and finishing touches
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, concrete forming, or related fields
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and restoration processes
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience with siding installation or woodworking is a plus
- Valid certification or licensing for heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required
