Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice on Saturdays and one weekday. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and excellent patient experience. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse range of dental conditions, with a focus on patient comfort and care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including exams, fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals.
- Utilize dental CAD software for designing restorations and prosthetics.
- Manage pediatric patients with specialized care tailored to children’s dental needs.
- Maintain detailed patient records using Epic and Dentrix electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through ongoing education.
Requirements
- DDS from Canadian University is highly preferred
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice in the designated area.
- Experience Dentrix software is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
