Technical Project Manager – Contract Opportunity

The Work:
Building out a next-generation digital learning platform requires an experienced technical project manager. You'd be stepping into an active agile, cloud-based build - working alongside a tight-knit, creative team that's truly invested in the product they're making.
Responsibilities:
- Driving the project forward day-to-day: planning, sequencing, unblocking
- Acting as the technical voice in the room - shaping solution decisions, not just tracking tasks
- Juggling several workstreams and teams at once without dropping the thread
- Spotting risk before it becomes a fire drill, and communicating it clearly
- Keeping leadership in the loop with clean, regular status updates
- Pulling together business cases and technical write-ups when needed
- Translating stakeholder needs into something a dev team can build
- Running things through standard PM tooling (think Azure DevOps, Smartsheet)
- Bringing in AI-assisted tools where they genuinely speed things up - with your judgment as the final check
Required:
- Either a degree/2-year diploma in CS (or similar) + 7 years building web-based software, or a 1-year certificate + 9 years in the same
- At least 3 years specifically project-managing agile, web-based software builds
Preferred:
- Real hands-on time with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) - releases, environments, CI/CD, deployments
- Experience wrangling complex systems: auth/identity pieces, third-party integrations, CMS functionality, high-traffic public access
- A track record of being the technical translator between engineers and business folks
- Comfort reporting up to execs and juggling communication across multiple projects at once
- Sharp instincts for catching and mitigating risk before it derails delivery
