The Role:
As Production Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day flow of our manufacturing operation located in Winnipeg’s Exchange District and work closely with our production supervisors and experienced production team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and coordinating production to meet customer deadlines
- Organizing workflow, priorities, capacity, labour, and production schedules
- Thinking ahead to identify bottlenecks and potential problems
- Building strong relationships with supervisors and production team members
- Coaching and developing team members
- Troubleshooting production issues and getting to their root cause
- Making timely decisions and following through to resolution
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve production flow, quality, and efficiency
- Piloting new processes, equipment, layouts, and ways of manufacturing
- Supporting purchasing, inventory management, and shipping
- Helping translate Botanical PaperWorks’ sustainability vision and five-year strategic plan into how we operate and manufacture
You’ll spend time on the production floor understanding what’s happening, working alongside the team, solving problems, and continuously looking for ways to make things better.

Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, mechanical or technical work, and people leadership are all assets.
