One Temporary Full Time Position .
We are currently seeking a Compliance Intern to join our Market & Trading Compliance team for a full-time 12-month term. This role provides a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting compliance activities in wholesale power markets across North America.
Working alongside experienced compliance professionals, traders, and cross-functional teams, the intern will develop a practical understanding of regulatory frameworks governing energy trading, including market conduct rules, reporting obligations, and internal compliance programs.
Y ou will contribute to our team by :
Contributing to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and controls .
What you will bring to the role :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business , Commerce, Finance, Economics, Energy Management, Law, Public Policy, or Regulatory Studies .
Prior internship, co-op, or academic experience in compliance, risk management, energy markets, finance, or regulatory environments is an asset .
Social & Interpersonal Skills:
Hybrid Office/Work from home position located in Calgary , with possible very minimal travel to meet business users at Capital Power facilities or other offices .
Standard business hours with some flexibility .
This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
