Duties:
- Estimate project costs, assemble quantity take-offs and develop quotation submissions
- Prepare requests for quotations, obtain competitive pricing from suppliers, subs contractors, etc.
- Draft proposals and submit tenders – meeting specialized requirements as needed
- Proof-read estimates for completeness and compliance with scope and specifications
- Foster long-term customer relationships through professionalism and respect
Requirements:
- Drivers License
- Demonstrate understanding of industry practices, electrical tendering processes and Bid Depository regulations
- Have experience estimating commercial projects (minimum 5 years
- experience in medical/dental would be a huge asset.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
