Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Program Facilitator to lead engaging and educational activities for children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will create a positive environment that promotes learning, development, and fun. This role involves planning, implementing, and supervising youth programs that foster growth, creativity, and social skills. A background in early childhood education, tutoring, or teaching is highly valued, along with experience working with children of various ages. The Youth Program Facilitator will play a vital role in supporting the overall well-being and development of youth participants through structured activities and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities for youth participants.
- Facilitate tutoring sessions to support academic achievement and skill development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children of diverse backgrounds.
- Monitor participant behaviour and provide positive guidance to encourage respectful interactions.
- Maintain organized records of attendance, progress, and activity outcomes.
- Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of participants and promote engagement.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings.
- Strong background in tutoring, teaching, or early childhood education preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with youth and adults alike.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging activities that promote learning and fun.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting youth development.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Prior experience in program planning or youth mentorship is a plus.
Pay: $70.00-$75.00 per day
