We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various makes and models of vehicles. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, specializing in European cars.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for repair or testing purposes.
- Repair or replace mechanical components, electrical systems, and hydraulic parts as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with assembly and installation of new equipment or parts when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Knowledge of automotive repair, industrial equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Proficiency with electrical systems, schematics, welding, HVAC systems, and mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and industrial equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Willingness to learn and open to opportunity to become lead mechanic
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy-duty maintenance tasks in a safe manner.
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
