Overview:
Position Summary
The Delivery Coordinator for the New Car Department is responsible for overseeing and executing a smooth, professional, and customer-focused vehicle delivery experience. This role ensures that all new vehicle deliveries are properly prepared, documented, and presented in alignment with OEM and dealership standards. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer centric, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: Monthly Salary + Commission
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule new vehicle deliveries with customers and the sales team.

Prepare vehicles for delivery by confirming completion of PDI, detailing, fueling, and accessory installations.

Review all delivery documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with OEM and dealership requirements.

Provide customers with a thorough vehicle orientation, including feature demonstrations, technology setup, and owner resource explanations.

Ensure delivery spaces and presentation areas are clean, organized, and aligned with dealership brand standards.

Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Service, and Inventory teams to ensure all steps of the delivery process are completed on time.

Assist with follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction and address any postdelivery questions.

Maintain delivery logs, track delivery metrics, and prepare reports for department management.

Assist in organizing customer events, new model launches, or delivery related promotions as needed.

Set First Service appoinment with customer

All other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in customer service, dealership operations, vehicle delivery, or automotive support preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.

Comfortable explaining vehicle technology and assisting customers with setup and feature instruction.

Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM platforms, and standard office software.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.

Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
