Cornerstone Church is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-minded individual to join our team as a Church Administrator. This permanent part-time position plays an important role in supporting the daily operations and ministries of the church through administrative coordination, communication, record keeping, office management, and serving our congregation.
The Church Administrator works closely with church staff, volunteers, and the Facilities & Finance Team to help ensure the effective functioning of church programs and operations, while contributing to a welcoming and Christ-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and operational duties, including:
- Preparing, printing, and distributing church communications and bulletins
- Maintaining Cornerstone Church records and filing systems
- Managing email correspondence and responding to general inquiries
- Coordinating reports, and administrative documentation
- Ordering office, custodial, and kitchen supplies
- Assisting with financial processes including payment requisitions, deposits, and record keeping; that this position does not include detailed bookkeeping or accounting responsibilities
- Coordinating facility rental operations
- Supporting meetings through agenda preparation, reporting, and documentation
- Maintaining both digital and paper records in an organized and confidential manner
- Assisting with general office administration and other duties as assigned

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Professional discretion and confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email systems, cloud-based filing platforms, and general office technology
- Experience in administration, bookkeeping, office management, or a related field
- A post-secondary office administration certificate or diploma is considered an asset

Hours & Compensation
- Part-time position: 20 hours per week (50% of full-time)
- Salary: $20,800.00 to $27,000 annually ($20 - $26 / hour), commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Flexible schedule to be coordinated with church leadership
- Three weeks of prorated vacation annually
- Paid sick leave and special leave provisions
